Transaction Overview
- On September 1st, 2021, LogPoint, the global Cybersecurity innovator, announced it will acquire Tel Aviv-based SecBI, a disruptive player in automated cyber threat detection and response. The acquisition is subject to customary legal requirements and approvals and is expected to be finalized by the end of Q3 2021
- SecBI is a Tel Aviv-based provider of universal SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) and XDR (Extended Detection and Response) platforms for automated cyber threat detection and response. SecBI raised $5 million in Series A funding in 2016 led by Orange Digital Ventures, Connecticut Innovations, Amichai Shulman, and Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP)
- LogPoint is a Copenhagen-based global cybersecurity innovator providing SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and UEBA (User and Entity Behavior Analytics) solutions with offices in nine countries across Europe, the USA, and Asia
- Most of SecBI's owners, including lead-investor Jerusalem Venture Partners, will become LogPoint shareholders, joining existing investors Digital+ Partners and Evolution Equity Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed
- Upon completion, SecBI will integrate into LogPoint's organization as LogPoint Israel and remain in Tel Aviv. SecBI founder and VP of Business Development Doron Davidson was appointed LogPoint's VP of Global Services
